One of MAC's strongest assets is its ability to convey a unified voice for county governments. MAC's Committees are charged with recommending policy for the association on legislative issues and developing political platforms that explain the association's position on important legislative issues. The platforms are subject to approval by the board and the full association membership before they become the association's official position.
